"I'm Riff Randell, Rock 'n Roller."

Ever seen Rock 'n Roll High School? If not, you need to watch it right now! It's one of my all time favorites because it combines a few of my favorite things: Roger Corman movies, PJ Soles, and The Ramones. I actually got to meet PJ Soles once and basically just word vomited a lot about how her character in Rock 'n Roll High School, Riff Randell, inspires me both in life and in sartorial decisions.

Really doing great at looking like a surly teenager.
It might surprise you to hear this, seeing as how I'm not exactly known for being a sporty gal these days, but I played three varsity sports in high school! (Soccer, cheerleading, and softball... on top of editing the school newspaper, working on yearbook staff, and starring in all the drama club plays. How the hell did I have time for all that?!) I seriously doubt my old high school letterman's jacket would fit me nowadays, so this New Look varsity jacket is perfect for the goth Riff Randell look I was going for here.

As you may remember, I'm working through a bit of a style crisis currently, plus I'm transitioning into working retail, so I've been dressing much more trendy/looking to different style inspirations than usual. My style during this experimental period can best be described as "costume-y." I figure it worked for Little Edie Beale, maybe it'll work for me too, haha!
