(Perpetually cycling between colorful mod and dark mysterious lady. I hope to find a middle ground someday!)
I spent yesterday with one of my favorite babes, which lead to me spending about a gazillion dollars on stuff I don't actually need. I spied this perfect bondage-y witch dress and knew it had to be mine. I also snatched up these Prabal Gurung for Target shoes I'd been eying forever. We were a bit taken aback at how on-trend the clothes were at Target nowadays! I'm fairly convinced that, much like
Pinterest, Target is an invention of The Man trying to keep our minds off smashing the patriarchy.

| I'm not always mean looking. Just always really bad at smizing/knowing what to do with my face. |
I've been a busy bee lately as per usual, partly because I've been helping to prepare for the (online) opening of Re/Dress on April 1st. Our indiegogo campaign is still raging on, and we're over the halfway point now with 11 days left to go. I really, really hope that we reach our $25K goal, because I quite desperately want to be a shopgirl! The original Re/Dress store was so fab, and I would love to be able to provide that experience for other big body babes. For more information on how to help us "Re/Store" Re/Dress, read on
here.
You nail this whole goth thing like no one I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteholy crap that's a great compliment!! <333
DeleteThat shrug is GORGEOUS and I love everything about this outfit forever.
ReplyDeletei have no idea if it even really is considered a shrug! it's a weird thing around my shoulders. haha!
DeleteI love the gothiness of the whole outfit! And that shrug is beautiful.
ReplyDeletethank you thank you!
DeleteYes to everything about this outfit! And those shoes are so wonderfully adorable!
ReplyDeletethanks amanda! they're pretty comfy too! well, comfy for a heel, anyways.
DeleteFor one, that shrug is perfection, and for two, it's awesome that in general the "typical" Target clothing shopper doesn't go for the awesome stuff that they actually do have, which means that that's the stuff you can find on the 75% off rack within a few weeks, oh and I've also found that if I've been waiting for something to go on sale and suddenly it's just gone, it usually means that it's in the online only clearance section :)
ReplyDeleteGREAT ADVICE! i need to look there from now on!
DeleteYour Outfit is Gorgeous!!
