Li'l Baby Beehive.

Shirt - Michael Kors/Skirt & Shoes - ASOS/Tights - Target/Earrings - Tory Burch/Lipstick - Underage Red by Kat Von D
So Alejandro and I are basically adult babies? That shelf is ridiculous. Anyway, my mom bought me this skirt for Christmas. She's really good at Christmas. It reminds me of my grandma's old wallpaper, I love it! It's definitely way too short and tight, but that has certainly never stopped me before. (When I sit down, you can totally see my booty meat. Oh well. Sorry ma.)

I knew immediately that I wanted to pair it with rust colored tights and these t-strap flats from ASOS. (This is the first time I had actually worn them. I would not recommend these shoes. They are flimsy as hell and feel like they're going to fall apart after like, one day of wear.)

I had no clue what to wear on top though! I'm still not totally convinced this cowl neck was the right choice. This skirt is giving me serious Velma vibes, so I feel like a turtleneck is necessary next time I wear it. I topped it off with a mini beehive and some Tory B earrings for good measure. I got this Kat Von D lipstick for free from a pal, and although I was skeptical, it is actually pretty awesome. It's super matte and has a great wear time. It's a muted orangey tomato red. Not as bold as I usually like to go with a lipcolor, but it was a nice change.

It's only the second week of January, and I have already done some pretty cool things that I will hopefully get to tell you guys about soon! I'm all about getting things done this year, and not allowing myself to be boring and stagnant. I hope I always have something to #humblebrag about in 2013.

  7. You look freaking amazing. I think the skirt looks great, the length totally works (but I know that feeling of too-shortness). Also, nosy me totally stared at your bookshelf for a full two minutes, I think we have the same taste in movies.
