I am the Sun, I am the New Year

I don't mean to brag or anything, but I officially achieved every goal I set for myself in 2012! Okay, yeah, I'm bragging. I'm just really impressed with myself, because I've never been one to see things through once they require any sort of effort. In the past year, I: turned my long distance love into co-habitation, got out of the miserable living situation I had been in for the last three years, started Zero Style and surpassed all of what I perceived to be the benchmarks of success for a four month old blog, and finally finally FINALLY started to learn how to take photos not on auto mode.

My goals for 2013 are to step my blog game waaaaay up, either find a new job or go back to school, get my house organized, add to my little nest egg, and go on a REAL vacation with Alejandro. Did you do everything you wanted to this year? What are your goals for 2013?

  5. great song, OH LORDY THEM SHOES!!! in luuuuv. i didn't really accomplish a lot that i wanted to in 2012, but i'm feeling more motivated for 2013. always room for change and improvement :) proud of you for doing it though! i need to take a tip from you and step up my blogging game! definitely one of my goals for the year

  9. I am impressed that you actually completed all your goals! That is pretty sweet. I didn't really do any goals last year and spent my entire year working my butt off and trying to plan a wedding.
    This year: Definitely step it up in the blog/business department (feel free to give me advice). Get healthier by a long shot. Pay down my student loan debt. And try to think nicer thoughts.

UGH YES THOSE LAST TWO ARE SO IMPORTANT FOR ME TOO. i need to get my loan payments lowered because they're killing me. and i am so so so guilty of thinking bad thoughts about others. i think i should make it a goal that if i can't think a nice thought about someone, i need to just not think about them at all. it's so much less work that way.

  10. Oh man this outfit is so freaking rad. I love everything about it right down to your black lipstick- I just bought myself a tube from Urban Decay but now I want this color too!

    Also, super impressed that you accomplished your goals for 2012. i didn't, but am working on creating a more feasible list for 2013!
